FACES OF CYPRUS

Exhibited at A.G Leventis Gallery

The photograph features a six-year-old child named Bill, originally from Cameroon. Bill was born in Cameroon, and at the age of three, he relocated with his parents to Larnaca, Cyprus, as they sought improved opportunities and a better future. Recently, Bill’s mother gave birth to another son in Larnaca, further establishing their growing family in their new home. I photographed Bill as a representation of a new generation in Cyprus—a reflection of a nation in transition.
